Common Products in Tyler Texas

Tyler’s widely varied architecture makes it hard to narrow down best sellers, however there are a couple of styles that tend to be seen more often here than other places in East Texas.

  • K-Style Gutter with Standard Downspouts

Tyler has a lot of 70s-90s homes with long straight roof lines, and few architectural decoration. These types of homes are where K-Style gutter and standard downspouts just fit best with no fuss. These houses also benefit from our higher standards, with thicker .032 gutter and stronger hanger brackets which aren’t common in the Tyler area.

  • Half Round Gutter

In areas like The Cascades, Graemont and the older large home areas around South Tyler, the Spanish influenced architecture really makes use of half round gutter systems. Other cities in East Texas have far less of this style of gutter.

  • Punch Type Guards

Pine Trees tend to be far less common in Tyler than the other cities of the region. The less pine straw, and the more cultivated broadleaf trees tend to allow more use of lower cost leaf guards like Punched Type. French drains also tend to be more prevalent and it’s always a good idea to have leaf guards when you have in ground drains of any kind. It’s better to keep the debris out of your pipes to begin with than it is to have to clean the debris out of those pipes regularly.

  • Copper Gutters

Large homes in affluent areas of Tyler like, The Cascades, Graemont and Eagle’s Bluff tend to use more Copper Gutters than anywhere else in East Texas.
