Combination Mesh Type
Leaf Filter® is one of the most advertised leaf protection products on the market today. It consists of a vinyl frame and a light gauge, fine stainless-steel mesh insert making it a Combination Type guard. While the stainless-steel mesh insert is of good quality, the vinyl frame is another matter. Vinyl is a very weak product to use in an outdoor and direct sunlight application. We OFTEN see these guards fail as the vinyl frame sags and the segments become separated, leaving large openings for debris to get in the gutter.
Special Note: Please look out for predatory sales tactics, and blatant price gouging. MUCH better option exist at ½ to 1/3rd the cost.
