Conductor Heads - A simple way to add elegance
I’m sure we all recognize fancy things when we see them. It’s American as apple pie to want and have nice things, not just functional things. If you, like I do, want your house to stand out in your neighborhood, a classy gutter system can add a lot of pop to your home.
The Conductor Head
A conductor head is primarily a funnel device that was designed to catch water from a flat roof via a scupper (a water chute that comes through a parapet wall). However, over the years they have often been used as an elegant decorative accent on residential homes.
We add these decorative boxes to the most prominent downspouts on the house, usually only 2 or 3 on a house (though sometimes more) as an extremely simple way to add a huge amount of class to you home.
What do they cost?
There are dozens of styles - Federal being our best seller - they range in price from $150-$300 each installed for the 4 styles below.
(many substantially more ornate options available ranging upwards into $1000s)
If you would like to add some class to you home, give us a call and ask for conductor heads. We can show you dozens of options, as well as design your gutter system to feature them correctly and in proportion.
